This policy is published by Bizzima ("we," "us"). It describes how we collect, use, and protect information from customers of our services.

Information we collect

• Account and business information: name, email, password, business type, business address, and organization details, submitted when you register for our services.
• Service data: client names, addresses, quote line items, invoice line items, and amounts you enter to create and send quotes and invoices. We do not process or store payment card or bank account numbers.
• Site analytics: Session identifier, page views and on-page interactions (such as button clicks and page engagement/exit events), browser and device information, and an approximate location (city, state, zip, country) derived from your IP address, collected via JavaScript on this site, not through tracking cookies. Site analytics data is retained indefinitely for internal analysis purposes.
• Security logs: IP address, timestamp, and request data, retained for fraud prevention and abuse detection.

How we use it

• Account and business information is used to set up and manage your account, and to contact you by email for onboarding and support. We do not send marketing email.
• Invoicing data is used solely to provide the invoicing service to you and is not used for any other purpose.
• Site analytics is used only to improve the performance and usability of this site.
• Security logs are used solely to detect and prevent abuse, spam, and unauthorized access.

Data retention

Account and invoicing data is retained for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with financial recordkeeping obligations. Security logs are retained for a limited period for fraud and abuse detection, then deleted.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising tracking. The only cookie used on this site is a strictly necessary session cookie that keeps you logged in.

Infrastructure and hosting

Our services are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. AWS processes data on our behalf as our infrastructure provider and does not use your data for its own purposes. We do not sell or share your information with any other third party, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising services on this site.

Security

This site is served entirely over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly.
